The meaning behind Virnum
Vires
in Numeris.
Strength in numbers.
When the numbers make sense the decisions become clearer.
Virnum takes its name from this Latin phrase. It reflects the belief that understanding your finances creates a stronger foundation for the decisions ahead.
The numbers are the starting point. The purpose comes from you: the people you care about and the future you want to build.

About me
Meet your adviser.
Daniel Maynard DipFA
Professional profile
I’m a fully qualified financial adviser with the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) and 10 years of experience in financial services.
My background in football has shaped how I work. Football taught me the value of preparation and discipline. It also gave me a competitive drive that I bring to my work. At Virnum that means taking time to understand you and bringing care and commitment to the advice I provide.
I want you to understand your options and feel comfortable asking questions. The aim is a clear personal plan built around what matters to you.
Beyond the office
Family life and my son keep me busy. I still play football from time to time and I’ve also taken up padel as the sport continues to grow.
